I really had to work quickly for this drawing as before I’d really finished the sketch the Stratenmakers had finished paving this bit and had disappeared around the corner!

House of Jackdaw…
When we arrived in Petten yesterday morning we saw through our apartment window a Jackdaw pecking at a white tissue lying on the path of the house opposite. The Jackdaw then flew up onto the roof waving the piece of tissue in its beak like a white handkerchief as if greeting our return to Petten!
In the Jackdaw house live two girls with long Raven black hair!
